Day 3


I can barely move! My whole lower half of my body is in agony from the first day, I feel like I injured myself.  But I bit my tongue (after much whining to my coach) and did today's Lower Fix.   I'm happy I did as it helped loosen up the muscles.

I'm not going to keep writing every meal I have eaten - I'm sure you all get it by now, but I will post an amazing recipe I threw together.

Slow Cooker Turkey Chili
5 servings, each yielding 1red, 1 yellow and 1 green

1 lb lean ground turkey
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 small jalapeƱo, chopped
4 cloves of garlic, chopped 
1 large can of low sodium diced tomatoes
1 can of red kidney beans, rinsed
2-3 tbsp Smokey Southwestern Seasoning

In non-stick frying pan, brown the turkey, onion, peppers and garlic until meat is no longer pink (drain)
Put meat mix, tomatoes, beans and seasoning into crockpot.  Cook on low for 6 hours.   If you prefer thicker chili, remove lid for last hour to evaporate some of the liquid. 

This is great with a side of salad!!
